Changes

Since my unexpectedly long break, I have been working on improving my mime inspired animation. The movie below shows the changes that I have made:




The first bit that I have changed is the swat. Before it seemed very one paced and floaty but I have added a couple of frames in and I think there is more weight to it now.

The other main change was to add some anticipation to the final bite. I have added more time in before the bite and I have used this time to make the character look as though he is going to take a bite but he is a bit reluctant.

I have also decided to keep the sound as I think it add to the piece and makes it instantly apparent what it is that is landing on his sandwich. His head movements show that it is something that flies but it could be anything, a bird, a plane or superman. This way the audience know that it is a fly.

The next stage will be to add the materials to the character and render out the scene to see how it looks.
